2003 Ford F 150 Trailer Brake Wiring Diagram. THIS IS A REQUEST VIDEO FOR A CUSTOMER. Ford says: White ground Dark Blue Trailer electric brake feed from brake controller (output) Light Green Vehicle stop lamp switch to brake controller (input) Red.
Just buy the Ford wire harness for the Prodigy and it's a plug and play deal. I am in the process of I installed a brake controller with no problems but when I was trying to identify the function of each wire in the new pigtail, I couldn't get the turn and brake wiring to work. I find these diagram to be helpful when wiring a trailer or vehicle.
I found the trailer brake adapter in the glovebox but I can't find where it plugs in under the dash.
Six wire plugs: Horse, stock or utility trailers: White = Ground - GD Yellow = Left turn/Brake -LT Green = Right.
It is the same color in many of Ford's automobiles. Do not connect a trailer's hydraulic brake system directly to your vehicle's brake system. Includes: ignition coil packs, CKP sensor, and CAM sensor circuits.
